Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, and Nick Castle. This film takes place 40 years after the original and completely disregards every single movie after that. The plot of the movie is Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. I thought that this movie was boring. The acting is nothing special, but it’s decent I would say the best performance was from Jamie Lee Curtis you can tell that she is traumatized by the events that happened. Judy Greer plays Laurie’s daughter and it felt like she was just there nothing about the character is interesting. Also, there is Laurie’s granddaughter played by Andi Matichak she was decent it this film at times it looked like she cared about being there, but didn’t at others. This film is not scary Micheal Myers is still not frightening at all. The movie is filled with lame jump scares. A lot of this movie just feels like it is lacking energy. 1 out of 5 stars for Halloween. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
